Sri Lanka cricket team has major problem with divided several group in between
them in this ongoing England tour . The major issue is former skipeer
Sangakkara and Dilshan are not happy with each other. Sanga wanted to put
Anjelo Matthews as a new skipper because Sanga can handle the young Matthews
very well .
However according to the seniority Dilshan was appointed captain by the
selection committee headed by Duleep Mendis.
After loosing the first test match at Cardiff grounds the problem between the
Sri Lanka players was build up very quickly. Dilshan has blamed senior players
with their poor batting performances ,said relaible sources in England. Dilshan
was unhappy with the senior players contribution especially from Sangakkara and
Mahela . Anyway this time Dilshan is expected to change his team members for
the 3rd test which scheduled to start from June 16. He wanted to put Suraj
Randeev , Lahiru Thirimanna as young players and drop Ajantha Mednis and
Farveez Maharoof from the final 11. Anyway reliable sources from England said
Dilshan was the man tried to get Maharoof for the Test squad as both of them are
good friends as well as both of them orginally Muslims .
