President Mahinda Rajapaksa met the Sri Lanka squad for the upcoming 2011 Cricket World Cup at temple Trees yesterday (January 08). The World Cup is being jointly hosted by Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh while 12 matches will be played in the country. Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Secretary of Ministry of Sports Udaya Ranjith, SLC Chairman D.S. de Silva and committee members were also present at the event.
