President arrives in New York...

President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa welcomed by two children, Tifani and Samadhi, as they arrived in New York yesterday (19th). The President is to participate in the 66th United Nations General Assembly during his visit to New York. Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations Dr. Palitha Kohona, Deputy Ambassador Maj. Gen. Shavendra Silva and staff of the UNPR were also present.
