Democratic National Alliance (DNA) leader and former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka today (August 28) attended the funeral of his niece with special permission of President Mahinda Rajapakse. Fonseka who is currently serving a prison sentence arrived at the funeral in Kelaniya with heavy security consisting of prison and police officers.
