The alleged serial killed who brought fear to Kahawaththa area has been arrested, Police Spokesman SSP Prishantha Jayakody told .Police state that the suspect had been arrested in connection with two murderes that took place in Kahawaththa, Neeladura area on April 3 and June 19, 2011.

 Upon a joint opertaion by the CID and Police the suspect was nabbed. From 2008 onwards over seven women have reportedly been mysteriously killed and left on the way side.
